The 4th Annual Banks Christmas Parade, held in downtown Banks Sunday night, drew crowds of families, children, and dogs to watch the lighted floats drift by.
Sponsored by the Banks Chamber of Commerce and with the aid of community groups, local businesses, and various government agencies, the holiday tradition continued amid some last-minute date changes.
James Reilly, a Hillsboro resident, driving a yellow 1969 Volkswagen Bug, said he heard about the parade on social media. Reilly’s grandparents lived in Banks.
“This is my Christmas – doing stuff like this,” he said.
