BUXTON – An early morning fire at a shop along Highway 47 south of the entrance to Stub Stewart State Park has resulted in a highway closure on the morning of Saturday, March 9.
Crews were dispatched to the scene at 4:19 a.m., according to the Pulsepoint app.
According to the Oregon Department of Transportation (ODOT), Highway 47 closed for crews to be able to fight the fire.

According to Banks Fire District public information officer Scott Adams, no one was injured in the fire.
Assisting Banks Fire on the scene are Forest Grove Fire & Rescue, Cornelius Fire Department, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue, Hillsboro Fire Department, Metro West Ambulance, Vernonia Rural Fire Protection District, Washington County Sheriff’s Office, and ODOT.
