Nearly all of Oregon’s 41 electric utilities have submitted their final plans to the state for preventing wildfires and managing shutoffs, according to the Public Utilities Commission.

Countywide burn ban to begin Monday morning
All backyard, agricultural, and debris or slash burning will be banned in Washington County starting 7 a.m. Monday, July 25, the member agencies of the Washington County Fire Defense Board announced Thursday afternoon.
