As presented to the Banks City Council on January, 13, 2026 by Deputy Frank Ward with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office. The Banks Post does not write, edit, or alter the contents of the police log.

This month's police log was delivered in number format by email with verbal commentary given to the Banks City Council. We have used an automated transcription service to transcribe the report, and included the original audio recording.

And with that, a fairly uneventful month. Actually, I should have had him stay and talk about the Christmas parade because he worked it for me. As far as I know, the Christmas parade, the light parade went off without a hitch. I didn't hear anything out of the blue or out of the ordinary. So, another successful event for that.

Few calls of note here in town. There's a warrant service. It was cleared by arrest. A missing person report that we documented. Person was later found a DUI through town that was cleared by arrest. And then a follow-up report that was related to another investigation somewhere else that was cleared by arrest. Or excuse me, by a report. So, that's the quick, long and short of it.
