The Washington County Open Studios Tour will return to the county on October 18 and 19, with more than 60 artists across 50 locations opening their workspaces to visitors.

"From quaint home studios to bustling galleries, each location tells a story of artistic journey and innovation. Meet the artists, hear their stories, and witness the techniques that bring their visions to life," a description on the tour's website read.

Visitors can enter studios from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days of the tour.

While many of the artists this year are in the eastern and central portion of the county, this year's map includes Forest Grove, Hillside, Banks, and Hagg Lake-area studios.

In Forest Grove, find Valley Art and Jeffrey Hall and Shari Erickson. Near and south of Hagg Lake, three studios will be open. Scott Foster, Kimberly Ghaemmaghami, and Jo Reimer and Harley Talkington share a space.

Between Gales Creek and Hillside, find Anya Doll and Maggie Pike's studio at 10275 NW Shearer Hill Rd.

South of Banks, Pam Dierickx works in thrown, built, and ceramic pottery on her family's century farm at 43060 NW Dierickx Rd.

In the Satellite neighborhood outside of Banks, you'll find two artists sharing a space.

JoAnn Pari-Mueller, a watercolor, calligraphy, and collage artist and Marie Helene Rake, who creates jewelry can be found at 14930 NW Tranquility Drive.

The tour was launched in 2010 by a group of 17 artists. Today, it is hosted by the nonprofit Washington County Art Alliance.
