County crews will close Cedar Canyon Road starting Sept. 29 to Oct. 10. to make repairs to the Dairy Creek Bridge, the city of Banks said.
The road will be closed at the bridge to all but local traffic, according to the city.

"I don’t think it is a coincidence that the first car on the early morning of the first day I worked after [Banks Road] was opened was 38 MPH before cresting the hill leaving town," writes Deputy Ryan Pope in this month's police log.
The Banks, Buxton, Manning and Timber CPO 14 will meet Thursday evening. On the agenda? "Oregon's Home Rule and how that makes Washington County different."
