The Banks School District will host an open house at the district offices, formerly the Banks Union High School, on Wednesday, Oct. 15 from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
As the district moves forward with plans to demolish the structure, it could be the last opportunity for most who attended school in the building when it was a high school.
There will be no formal program at the open house, the district said.
"It is time for you to reconnect with classmates, neighbors, teachers, and friends as we celebrate the place that helped shape generations of students. Let’s fill the halls one more time—with laughter, love, and the legacy of our shared past," the district said in a notice for the event.
Light refreshments will be served.
