Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue announced it had lifted a temporary burn ban enacted June 7 during a heat wave. For those in Washington County, the sprint burning season ends June 15.
Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue enacted a burn ban Saturday morning, appearing to be the first Washington County fire agency to do so as a heat wave looms over the region.
Two uncontested races saw incumbents take their seats once again on the sprawling Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue board, while one incumbent, Gordon Hovies, will be ousted in favor of new-to-the-board but not to Washington County politics Roy Rogers if initial results hold.
