The board of directors of Banks Fire District 13 will meet Tuesday evening at 6 p.m. to interview three finalists for the open seat vacated by the recall of former board Chair Mark Schmidlin.
With the recall of former Board Chair Mark Schmidlin, the Banks Fire District Board must appoint a new board member to fill the empty spot.

Washington County released the results of additional ballots Friday morning, and Banks Fire District Board Chair Mark Schmidlin is likely to lose his seat when the election is certified in May.
