Firefighters from Forest Grove Fire & Rescue, Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue and several other agencies joined a task force to fight the Golden Fire burning in Oregon's Klamath County Sunday.

A residential fire that has spread into adjoining wildland near Highway 26 and 47 in Manning has prompted a Level 1 evacuation for a one mile area south and east of the fire at the Highway 26 Highway 47 Banks turnoff, the Banks Fire District said.
A residential fire broke out near Manning Saturday morning, the Banks Fire District said, with crews responding to reports that a structure was burning near the Highway 26 and 47 interchange.

A celebration to mark the 50th anniversary of the creation of the Tillamook State Forest will be held at the Tillamook Forest Center Saturday, July 22 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
"Conditions may be favorable for rapid fire spread which may threaten life and property," the NWS said. "Use extra caution with potential ignition sources, especially in grassy areas. Outdoor burning is not recommended."
