Local legislators, attorney general coming to Forest Grove town hall

Legislators serving Forest Grove, Cornelius, and Hillsboro will join Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield for a town hall at Pacific University on Friday, Jan. 30.

Legislators serving Forest Grove, Cornelius, and Hillsboro will join Oregon Attorney General Dan Rayfield for a town hall at Pacific University on Friday, Jan. 30.

State Sen. Janeen Sollman and state Reps. Susan McLain and Nathan Sosa plan to attend the Oregon Priorities Town Hall, scheduled from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Pacific University's Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center at McCready Hall.

Sollman represents Senate District 15, which includes Forest Grove, Cornelius, Hillsboro and Rock Creek​; McLain represents House District 29, which covers Forest Grove, Cornelius and Hillsboro, and Sosa represents House District 30, covering portions of Hillsboro and Helvetia.

"As we work to keep communities safe, protect consumers, seniors, and working families, and defend Oregonians' values, we want to hear what’s most important to you and your families," said Rep. McLain.

Those interested in submitting a question at the town hall are asked to register online.

Free parking for the event can be found at Pacific's Lot C on the corner of Pacific Avenue and Cedar Street, accessed by entering on Cedar Street.

A 35-day legislative session begins Feb. 2.
