The Banks High School Grad Night Committee is hosting a bingo night, silent and live auctions and dinner on Saturday, March 14, at Schlegel Hall to raise money for the Class of 2026 Grad Night celebration.

Doors open at 5 p.m. with a silent auction, no-host bar and a taco bar buffet catered by Qdoba. Bingo begins at 6 p.m. with five games, followed by an intermission and live auction at 7 p.m. Five more bingo games wrap up at 7:30 p.m. and the event ends at 8 p.m.

Tickets are $25 in advance or $30 at the door and include a bingo card, the taco bar dinner and a non-alcoholic drink. Additional bingo cards will be available for purchase, along with 50/50 special bingo games. Tickets sold at the door will be limited, so advance purchase is recommended. Children 5 and under are admitted free.

Grad Night is a drug and alcohol-free celebration put on by senior parents immediately after graduation at a secret location. Each senior pays a fee, but it doesn't cover all the costs, meaning parents must fundraise to make up the difference.

“All funds will be used exclusively to pay for the venue, transportation and prizes given at the Grad Night event,” said Cassi Bergstrom, secretary of the Grad Night Committee, a subcommittee of the Banks High School PTO.

There are approximately 96 seniors in the Banks High School Class of 2026, Bergstrom said in an email to the Banks Post.

Auction items include a two-night beach house stay in Seaside, a load of rock, a cord of firewood, a homemade quilt, a professional Christmas light installation service, truck and tractor pull passes, gift cards, baskets and more.

The fundraiser was last held in 2024, Bergstrom said.

Those interested in donating items for the auction can contact the Grad Night Committee through the Banks High School Parents Association Facebook page.

Schlegel Hall is located at 12765 NW Main St., Banks.
