Banks Post Weekly Newsletter

November 7, 2025, Volume 1, issue #5.

Check out the Banks community calendar! This calendar is becoming one of the core features of the Banks Post, featuring local government meetings, live music, Banks Braves events and more. We've designed it to showcase all the things happening in the Banks area, including Banks, Buxton, Manning, Timber, Roy, and more.

Events - Banks Post
The Banks Post events calendar is under construction, but is now live!

We're pursuing this now to make sure that current residents and newcomers to Banks can find out what's happening in town and get involved.

As Banks grows, we only get one chance to show new residents how to become involved with our cherished local traditions, from our extraordinarily strong Banks Braves sports programs, to the St. Francis Christmas Bazaar, bingo at the American Legion Hall, and more.

We want to thank our growing list of business supporters who are helping us build this calendar:

City of Banks
Welcome Home Realty
Uncommon Grove
Waltz Brewing

To help us cover the cost of the calendar, we're looking for more business sponsors and 10 individual sponsors.

If you're a local business owner who wants to join us in this mission, please email news@bankspost.com today - your sponsorship will be in promotional materials for a full 12 months, and we have opportunities for any budget.

Looking for Forest Grove or Gales Creek events? Check out our sister site, News in the Grove.

We spend hours every week adding local events so that Banks residents can find local fun things to do to support our community. You can help me by adding your own business and organization events. Simply visit the calendar, and click the calendar icon in the upper right-hand corner.

Thanks for reading!

Yours, Chas Hundley, Founder, Banks Post
