Banks is a two-stoplight town now
The city of Banks and Washington County said the stoplight at the north end of town would be lighted Wednesday evening, doubling the amount of active traffic signals in Banks.
Thanks to Banks Post reader Ed Trussell, who sent us this photo moments after crews activated it Wednesday evening.


Vote by November 4 at 8 p.m. to be counted
Banks-area voters must cast their ballots, containing just two questions, by Tuesday, Nov 4 before the 8 p.m. deadline.

City plans Halloween closure to outside traffic for Arbor Village
The city of Banks will once again close the Arbor Village development to outside traffic on Halloween.

Hundreds lose power in Banks
Banks, Gales Creek, and Forest Grove residents all lost power at some point on Saturday.
