Washington County Board of Commissioners to host town hall Feb. 23

The Washington County Board of Commissioners will host the first of four quarterly county Town Halls scheduled this year Thursday, February 23, focusing on the county’s budget development process and financial challenges facing the county. 

The event will be a hybrid event starting at 6 p.m., with online and in-person options for participating. Pre-registration is not required.

Those who wish to attend in person can do so at the Washington Street Conference Center in Hillsboro (102 SW Washington Street, Room 1204) starting at 6 p.m. Masks are optional but encouraged, the county said. 

The Washington County Board of Commissioners and key staff are expected to attend the town hall, the county said in a Feb. 3 press release. 

Those wishing to view the event online can participate via Zoom, or watch a livestream on the county’s Youtube channel

Spanish-language viewers can watch at MACC TVCTV on YouTube.
