Sheriff’s office seeks public assistance in Saturday Cornelius shooting

UPDATE: According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Brown turned himself in to deputies Sunday night. He was booked into the Washington County Jail on charges of Attempted Murder in the Second Degree, Attempted Assault in the First Degree, Unlawful Use of a Weapon , Menacing, and Recklessly Endangering Another Person.

Deputies from the Washington County Sheriff’s office are seeking public assistance after a shooting in Cornelius occurred Saturday evening. 

According to a press release from the Sheriff’s Office, deputies contracted to serve the city of Cornelius responded to reports of a shooting at the intersection of South 26th Avenue and South Baseline Street at 5:22 p.m on Saturday, August 29.
