Friends group hosts library book sale in Banks

The Friends of the Banks Public Library, a nonprofit that supports the operations of the city-owned Banks Public Library is hosting their annual book sale.

Located in the Jane Moore Community Room, the sale began Thursday, and will continue Friday, Saturday, and Monday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Used books and other media will be for sale, with proceeds benefitting the nonprofit.

Other library news
The Banks Public Library will also host another installment in their “Homestead Series” of events at the library. This month, attendees—the event is billed for teens and adults—will be making spa gifts such as sugar scrub, lip balm, room spray, and candles.

The event will be held Tuesday, November 15 at 7 p.m.
