For over 50 years, Hagg Lake has been a top recreation spot for visitors from western Washington County and beyond. For just as long, the Klaumann family has welcomed locals and travelers alike at their rural grocery store. Now, as Bob and Cherri Klaumann pass the torch, they reflect on decades of community support.

Man drowns after jumping off pier at Hagg Lake
“The male reportedly jumped off the pier into the water, surfaced, then struggled to swim before submerging once again,” the sheriff’s office said, noting that deputies immediately began searching for a male in his thirties.
Hagg Lake to host two summer concerts in 2024
Washington County Parks will host two free concerts at Hagg Lake’s Boat Ramp C this summer, the first featuring Nate Botsford Saturday, July 13 and the second Rockit Radio Saturday August 3. The park’s usual $7 parking fee still applies.
