The Banks High School Parent Organization is seeking vendors for the launch of what they plan to be an annual event, the Brave Marketplace.
Scheduled for Saturday, May 31 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Banks High School parking lot, the event is open to a variety of vendors, including garage-style items.
“You can sell basically whatever you want,” said Angi Lyda, a volunteer with the group. Lyda noted the exception of alcohol, weapons, and drugs.
“Vendors are welcome to sell garage sale items, hand-crafted items, food products, ready to eat foods, farm and agricultural products, arts, service businesses, educational information, pretty much whatever you can haul to your spot to sell,” an info page for prospective vendors read.

Fees are $20 for nonprofits, $30 for a 10′ by 10′ space and $40 for a 15′ by 15′ space.
