Banks May 2022 Police Log

Theft from vehicle – Arbor development: Unknown suspect(s) entered several unlocked vehicles and misc items (wallets, ear buds and other misc electronics) through out the arbor development. Although there was some video available from several houses, none of the footage was clear enough to obtain a usable description.

Suspicious circumstance – NW Main St: A deputy was flagged down by a citizen who said they had found illegal drugs. The citizen refused to answer any questions regarding the finding of the illegal drugs. The illegal drugs were seized and entered into evidence for destruction.

Traffic Crash – NW Arborpark Lp: Both police and fire units were dispatched to a crash in the intersection of NW Arborpark Lp and NW Barton Ct. A young driver had turned left without making sure it was safe to do so. The young driver also turned too tightly and crashed into an on coming car. Neither driver was injured, but both vehicles were towed from the scene due to damage caused by the crash.

Verbal Domestic – NW Jarvis Pl: Deputies were called to the Quail Hollow apartment complex for reports of a domestic disturbance. Deputies arrived on scene and learned that the argument was due to the female’s father being allowed to live at the apartment. Once the deputies explained that the father would need to be evicted, allegations of drug abuse were made. However deputies were not allowed in the apartment to look for evidence of the allegation of drug use.

Juvenile Abuse – NW Jarvis Pl: In the late hours of the night, deputies were called to respond due a juvenile calling with concerns for their mother’s mental health. During their investigation, the juvenile had told deputies that the mother had given the juvenile cocaine. The mother later admitted to the allegation. The mother taken into custody and lodged in the Washington County Jail. Working with DHS, deputies left juvenile in the care of different family members.
