Polls closed for the November 4 Special Election at 8 p.m., and the first batch of results are in.
Two ballot measures were being voted on by Washington County voters.
Measure No. 34-345, a replacement and increase to a levy that funds nearly half of the county's library system, is on track to pass.
The first results showed the yes vote at 56.9% or 51,994 votes in favor and the no vote at 43.1% or 39,388 against.
Measure No. 34-346, a replacement and increase to a levy that funds 18% of the county's public safety system, is also on track to pass.
The first results showed the yes vote at 57.39% or 52,431 votes in favor and the no vote at 42.61% or 38,926 votes against.

The next election results are on Nov. 7, 14, 21, and 28 before certifying the election on Dec. 1.
