Power outages throughout the region, from multiple causes, have impacted customers of Portland General Electric and West Oregon Electric Co-op in Timber, Buxton, and some Banks-area homes. Land lines with the 357, 359, and 992 prefix cannot dial 911.

As heavy rains descend on the region, the Portland branch of the National Weather Service warns that local streams and rivers, especially those draining the Coast Range, will likely see minor flooding.

In a report issued by the Oregon Department of Forestry, the agency said that $38.8 million was distributed to Washington and Tillamook counties in fiscal year 2019 (July 1, 2018 through June 30, 2019).
